Adding CNAME in Windows DNS
Open DNS Management Console, expand the site > Forward Lookup Zones and select the domain where you need to add this alias. Right click the domain and select New Alias (CNAME).
Provide the Alias name. FQDN will autocomplete once Alias is provided.
Provide the FQDN for target host. Alias is like being forwarded to another FQDN.
